[fusion_text]Earlier this month, I found myself tagging along with a friend to a music studio space he was renting. It happened to be next to
Colorado Plus Brewpub, a food and beer venue I had never visited.
It was a Wednesday evening and upon climbing the stairs to the second level I was greeted with the smooth sound of jazz music. Colorado Plus hosts a prohibition night every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month and I just happened to catch Ed Breazeale and the Jazz Ram. The stand-up bass, guitarist and drummer were pumping out some intricate and interesting rhythms that were truly a pleasure to hear while I enjoyed a few beers.
My favorite beer of the night was a French Saison by Ratio Beerworks out of Denver. Colorado Plus brews beer on site and carries beers from other Colorado breweries. I encourage everyone to explore their website and learn more about this unique venue. They have an awesome story and focus.
Moral of the story: if you are in Denver and want to have a Colorado brew on a Wednesday, or any other day for that matter, check out Colorado Plus. You will not be disappointed.[/fusion_text]

About the “A Sam About Town” series:
Your inside look at some of Colorado’s best nouns (people, places and things) according to one unimportant brewer who happens to like doing things.[/tagline_box][/one_full]
